ITINERARY

Departing from Cusco towards the heights of the Calca district, which is located in the Sacred Valley. It will take us 1.45 hours by car to reach the starting point of our hike, located at 4100 meters above sea level. Because of the higher altitude, you may feel cold and perhaps some strained breathing at the beginning, but you will notice that the sensation disappears when your body is warm.

We will begin by ascending for 20 minutes until we reach a plain, where the effort will be less in the middle of a remote landscape. It will be a real pleasure to enjoy the silence there, the enormity of the mountains, and the cold air that hits our skin. After approximately 3 hours of walking on a surface of slight ups and downs, we will arrive at the base of our second ascent that leads us to the pass located at 4395 meters of altitude, the highest point of our hike, which will take us 40 minutes walking. Once we reach the summit, we will descend towards the community of Paru Paru, on the way the treasure of the lagoon awaits us. In Paru Paru, our vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to Cusco.
